Meet the owner and guide

Hola!

My name is Andrea and I am originally from Canada. I like to think of myself as a Renaissance Woman. I became a history nerd at birth and started taking photos soon after. I have hammered iron in the 19th century, worked with and ridden motorcycles for one of the most iconic brands on the planet, chased giants in the North of Ireland, purveyed fine wines to the rich and infamous in London and now live in Santiago de Compostela…sometimes, when I’m not out exploring my beautiful new home of Galicia. I am also the creator of Wild Galicia Adventures and Wildgalicia.com, Camino Guide, Website Goddess and General Jack of all trades.

Wild Galicia Adventures specializes in the road less travelled: Caminos and hiking routes in Galicia. We believe in providing authentic and immersive experiences for women that prioritize the spirit of adventure, exploration and discovery on the Caminos we travel. We are not a, waiting on you hand and foot, kind of thing. Our focus is on creating meaningful connections with the women we walk with and the destinations we visit. We embracing the local culture and fostering a sense of camaraderie with kindred spirits.

Meet The Fixer

Hola!

I’m Emma, a 23-year-old traveler looking for more adventures.

I will be handling your accommodation booking, logistics and to help you throughout the journey, in Spanish and English.

Born in the cold South of Argentina, Bariloche, I spent much of my life in Buenos Aires studying Tourism and Hospitality. Life, love and work finally took me to Santiago de Compostela, in the north of Spain. Here I discovered my passion for tourism, photography and discovery.

I am very excited to be part of this exciting adventure with Andrea and all of you.

Let’s start the journey!
